The impact of pornography in society, in a relationship, in individual health is extensively studied by many researchers all over the world.  Pornography is widely watched by millions of viewers and believed to have a negative impact on gender, couple relationships. Most of the mainstream pornography depicts violent, abusive sex, dehumanization, and objectification. A handful of porn videos show healthy sexual relationships. Sex profoundly impacts the brain; pornography disrupts the natural reward system of the brain, becoming addictive, undermining mutual relatedness and intimacy. Pornography has always been seen with a judgmental, criticism point of view, rather than from a liberal, inquisitive and constructive perspective.

As pornography evolved, it became ubiquitous, powerful as easy internet access and new technology bloomed and flourished. When VR and AR really start being implemented, porn will become invincible, impossible to get it restricted. The tech-savvy younger generations are more prone to the potential risk presented by unrestricted porn. VR and AR technology significantly enhance the intimacy and vividness of porn, making it more realistic, making it more potent. Sex is still considered closeted, and sex education is only for a privileged few. Educational institutions and parents often brush aside sex, which aggravates the situation.

The curiosity kills the cat. As kids have unrestricted access to the internet, they plunge into discriminatory porn earlier or during psychosexual development. This twists and turns their sexual perspective, and for some, the effects linger beyond adolescence.  It is essential to watch what kids are watching and consuming as this content slowly but steadily manipulates their brain. Pornography is watched by both genders, though male forms the majority of the audience. Some couples and cultures are more open to pornography, becoming a stimulant in long-term relationships. More than often, pornography becomes a window to escape from a relationship and sexual discontent. For some couples, pornography is an alchemist in their relationship. Still, if they do not maintain a pragmatic viewpoint, porn tends to interfere with intimacy and set expectations about sexuality that are beyond norms. Many research types are carried out to dig the effects of pornography on sexual satisfaction, loneliness, and divorce.
